There's nowhere in the world quite like Iceland. This island nation is filled with countless incredible waterfalls, gorgeous mountains, and some of the most otherworldly landscapes you'll ever see. There's no shortage of things to see and do in Iceland. Exploring this country is exhilarating as you traverse landscapes like nowhere else and see some of the most amazing sights you'll ever lay your eyes on. The constantly changing weather conditions make it so that no spot ever looks exactly the same way twice. Iceland is gorgeous all year round but fall proved to be an especially beautiful time. Winter had yet to take hold but it was so amazing to see the changing of the seasons happen in real time. Fall is also less busy than the summer months and it wasn't uncommon to find ourselves in an unbelievable spot with not a single soul around.

While planning to embark on our Iceland adventure, it quickly became clear that the best way to travel around the island was by camper van. Having the mobility and flexibility to see more was absolutely essential. We decided to go with CampEasy's Easy Clever 4x4 and it fit our needs perfectly. It was the perfect adventure vehicle and was a very comfortable home for our week on the road. With the 4 wheel drive, exploring the highlands was no problem. With a refrigerator, sink with running water, and plenty of plugs to keep our gear all charged up, we had everything we needed. The integrated heater was also a godsend during some of the more chilly nights. It was so nice to be able to camp nearby the spots we wanted to visit and catch that perfect morning light.

Everyone's seen countless photos of Iceland but there's no way that photos can really do a place like this justice. It really is one of those places that you just have to experience for yourself. Iceland has so, so much to offer and it'll keep me coming back for many years to come.
